Why We Built This Site
Georgia gives the public broad access to many court records, including through the Open Records Act and court-access rules. The hard part is figuring out which Charlton County office holds the file you want. The Clerk of Superior, State & Juvenile Courts maintains Superior, State, and Juvenile Court records. Probate/Magistrate Court handles estates, marriage licenses, guardianships, conservatorships, magistrate filings, and related records. The Sheriff's Office handles jail, incident, accident, traffic citation, 911, and law-enforcement record requests.

- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
